Lose Fat Fast - The Top Ten Things You Must Do:

1.    Zig-Zag Your Caloric intake – Switch between a higher calorie day followed by a lower calorie day. This will provide a little shock & awe-some to your metabolism i.e. if you eat 2,000 calories on a Monday, shoot for 1,200-1,500 on Tuesday. Make sure to keep the calories clean on both higher & lower calorie days.

2.    Speed It Up - Keep your training faster paced. The average mainstream adult is more concerned with losing fat than building muscle. Even if you’re young, nothing looks better then a lean and sculpted physique. Well, here’s the perfect plan for getting lean. Take little rest between sets of your weight training – Plan ahead by writing out your workout so you can quickly move from one exercise to the next.

3.    Change Up Your Workouts – Strength training is meant to challenge your muscles and cause micro trauma. Through proper nutrition and with adequate rest, your body repairs muscles and they grow larger and stronger. More muscle means a higher metabolic rate and many more calories burned. Your body has an infinite wisdom to adapt to the stress caused by strength training. If you constantly follow the same workout plan without changing things up, you’re missing out on some serious fat burning and muscle building results!

4.    Drink More Water – Your body is made up of approximately 70% water – That’s ALLOT! Your liver needs adequate amounts of water in order to convert fat to energy. If you’re exercising regularly, chances are you need to increase your daily dose to somewhere in the vicinity of 1 full gallon per day. More water means increased fat burning!

5.    Get Caffeinated – If you can tolerate it, caffeine is a great way to boost immediate energy to get you off that couch and into the gym. You have many choices - some of the most popular are coffee, green and black teas, the typical convenience store energy drink and my all time favorite pre workout rocket booster formula, Super Pump Max.

6.    Never Skip Breakfast – Many people don’t have the time to sit down for breakfast, but skipping this meal can mean sabotage to your healthy nutrition plan. It’s important to keep the body fueled with nutrition to both keep hunger at bay and to feed hungry muscles. It’s a great way to keep the metabolism working most efficiently.

7.    Keep Your Meals Manageable – Eat smaller metabolism friendly sized meals – When you eat large meals, you make it very difficult for your digestive system to break down the food. What do you think will happen to the food that is not effectively digested? Some will become waste and some will be converted to body fat. Keep you meals smaller and keep body fat in check.

8.    Spice It Up – When you eat spicy food, your body heat rises and you end up actually burning calories, as your body begins working hard at cooling you down. Foods like hot peppers and condiments like Tabasco sauce and my two favorites: Sirichai Hot Sauce Rooster and Cholula Hot Sauce are one of my secret weapons in keeping my fat burning metabolism super charged!

9.    Keep It Moving – If you find yourself sitting allot, it’s vital that you get up out of your seat every half hour or so to keep the body moving. If you are forced to stay at your desk, create some “wiggle room”. That’s right, move your legs, contract your abs, fidget around some and you’ll be burning more calories than you think.

10.    Turn Up The Cardio Intensity – When you add intense Bursts of energy to your cardio exercise Bouts, like a walk-jog-sprint sequence, you’ll end up burning more calories and ultimately burn more body fat. Start out with a gradual pace, then bring it up to a jog like pace and for 30 seconds, turn it up and go all out. After the sprint, head back to the gradual pace and repeat the process. 20 minutes of this 3-5 times a week is a fat burning mega tool.

Keep Going!
