Almost everybody knows that high glycemic carbs, especially
processed ones, spike insulin and cause many health problems as well as fat accumulation
That’s why I try to tell average people who don’t exercise much,is to try limit their intake of even the
healthy white starchy carbs, like rice and potatoes.
Now if you’re an intense exerciser or athlete your metabolic demands and
needs are different, so you can get away with consuming high
glycemic carbs more frequently, as the body like to youse GLUCOSE as prefered energy source.
i also suggest with carbohydrates rather than go too low, rather find the right and correct micronutrients ratio to your metabolic capacity and daily
caloric needs, if you got to LOW for a long period of time, what we do is create an imbalance and we become more insulin resistant and our cells become
less responsive to insulin and have greater chance once ingested again of storing them as body fat.
In fact, it’s desirable to keep your metabolism healthy and insulin levels steady.
I must always recommend never to eat a high glycemic carbohydrate food by themselves.
i always suggest combining these carbohydrates with all-natural lean protein, healthy essential fats and/or fibrous
vegetables to keep insulin nice and stable. This will help you limit fat-storage
and keep your body internally healthy. So we using insulin to our advantage not to spike to high, but at the levels just enough for fueling our energy
and transporting the important amino acids into our cells.
our main problem is really too much sugar, overall high GI carbs which are mainly processed, stress, and trans fats
that appear to be the MAIN culprits responsible for heart disease and over fat gain.
its very important for people to monitor their allergens to wheat and gluten and various other foods, as these can lead to tremendous health problems
Note that one of the WORST carb sources in terms of blood sugar and glycemic load is anything made with wheat or gluten(even so-called
“healthy whole wheat”), which has been proven in blood sugar testing to have a higher impact on blood sugar than even pure
table sugar due to the nature of the Amylopectin-A in wheat foods.
Whole Grains can elevate CRP and inflammation in your body, that is why its important to see how you digest and react to certain grains and how you prepare
is vitally important, so basically focus your nutrition on your bioindividuality as another mans food can be another mans poison.
Good Luck
