I knew sooner or later I had to get out there on the field. Maybe it was a post by Fredrik on the forum that put the idea in my head.

But instead of going 800 yards (been there, one that) today I went 900 yards and in reverse. Reverse lunges are in some ways a little bit easier. You don’t have that deceleration in the front leg that burns out the quads. But in some ways it’s harder to balance yourself, especially if you’re going over ice, something I almost learned the hard way.

Lunges get the heart pumping way above the target heart rate. So make sure you know your limits and be careful. I recently had a full physical, and I know my heart can handle the punishment.

We’ll see if this results in the same soreness as before, but like I said, something was a little easier about going in reverse, I wasn’t about to pass out this time. Maybe it’s also a result of all the training the past three weeks.

Shout out to Tony for helping me with the camera work and giving these lunges a try. Great effort man. For those of you around the world who put up your own lunge videos, this is your invitation to try it in reverse.

Cabcutta, I know you’ve been working hard, eating right and hitting that sauna like crazy. I look forward to seeing consistency from you on the forum, but don’t pass out in the sauna, son! Slow and steady wins the race.

Cynthia and Byron have sent proof of age today and I’ll be reaching out to them tomorrow to kick things off.

One world, baby.

Peace,

Kevin
