Your internal belief system affects how you interact with people and the world around you - what and how you think about yourself and your existence will lead to specific outcomes in your life. Your mind is a strange, yet incredibly powerful thing because it can be the most important tool in helping you achieve your goals, and at the same time it can be the biggest source of negative, quickly helping you fail in your efforts.
The following workout tips will help you positively believe in yourself and will lead to the greatest possible outcome:
From here on, before each and every workout, I want you to begin by declaring the most positive reasons for why you train and why you’re so dedicated to your training regimen. Even if the positive you declare for today, is simply that you showed up at the gym when you clearly didn’t want to be there…this statement alone should inspire you to give your all during that workout. This self-motivation is mind fuel and you must keep this octane flowing daily!
How about the workouts where you expected your workout to great, but somewhere along the way, you suddenly hit a wall, feeling exhausted and missing the mark on things you normally kick ass in. Most might end up sabotaging that workout by calling it quits. The wise however see this as a positive by declaring the fact that everyone has both good days and bad days…the all empowering positive to pull here is to focus on completing the entire workout, give it your all, and do not quit!
By realizing that positives can be spun from even the toughest situations, you become empowered to handle and progress through/over any challenge/obstacle thrown in your way. Know this!
Team Up: Put together a positive support team. Good friends will help you overcome obstacles, hold you to your word and help you stay the course. Together, you help each other maintain a positive belief system and uplift one another through both thick and thin. Your support team understands that they too want to succeed, so the more they support you, the more you’re going to give it right back. There is power in numbers, so friends who care about your wellbeing and your success, can be the catalyst for rapid results.
Avoid pseudo friends who constantly downplay your achievements or hold you back from being positive, because this will only inhibit your success. Surround yourself with people who help you stay positive and help you dust off when you occasionally fall down.
If you have the support and you believe in yourself, then before you know it you can and will achieve any goal you set your eyes on and mind to.
Stay Positive!
