“Good, Better, Best,” Never Give Up Through Tough Times.

When someone you care about is in a downward spiral, trying to find the right words is hard. But try we must.

With any wisdom I’ve attained, I still find myself at a loss at times, and recall simpler days when, as a child, the phrase that pulled me back from the abyss was, “good, better, best, never let it rest, till your good is better and your better is best.”

Today I wanted to reach out to a few members in particular, you know who you are. And I just wanted to let the camera roll. No soundbites, no hurry, in real time. I hope some of what I’m saying below sticks. Just know that you can always turn to TLR for confessions and support.

We all go through dark times, and I believe it’s the existence of the “other,” that pulls us back toward the light. The other people that depend on you, and all you have to offer. Put that in the forefront of your mind and you can come back from anything. Full blown and in the zone, baby. That’s what’s up. Always.
