I have a friend in the Air Force who asked me to come up to give a seminar for some of the soldiers. Since I was flying out of Orlando yesterday, I decided to tack this on to the end of my trip. I have a loyalty to the military for many reasons – I cover some of them in the video below.
These United States Air Force soldiers range from computer techs to flyers to police – all with the common goal of getting and staying in top condition.
We discussed overall nutrition and a focus on conditioning with high reps. These guys are not going to be squatting huge weights, they need to be lean and limber, quick in body and mind.
I can’t disclose where this took place, in light of the security situation coming off of what happened with Osama Bin Laden.
I’m an American, but I also have respect for soldiers around the world…those willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for their families and countrymen, and especially those who protect freedom.
Traveling and meeting all kinds of people, and humbly making a difference, is the best thing to come out of my career. But TLR is my home. Tomorrow morning, the iron I know best waits silently.
I’ve got 11 days left to post on LO11. What else can I say…it’s time for some drastic measures, and you’re going to see what that means very shortly.
Peace and Godspeed,
Kevin
