One World Transformation • Back Day #1

So many years I’ve been training back. Lower lats, upper back thickness, lat width and v taper. Here I am, today, banging out another back workout – and it still fires me up.

You’ve done tons of back workouts, too. What makes this one different? I’ll tell you: a little extra focus on the range of motion on the cable rows today, turning your wrist just right.

Go WIDER on the pull downs, a little wider than you’re used to. Note how it feels, and visualize wide lats while you pull down with intensity. Feel those scapulas flare out.

Feel the burn of a properly executed hyperextension. We all know the feeling of a chest pump, an arm pump. But until you feel the blood pumping into that lower back, you don’t know what it feels like to be an elite athlete.

I also worked biceps today, but did not have the space to record it. The full workout is listed below.

I want to give a shout out to the entries on the Facebook contest. Click on the contest tab and get yours up before February 8th to be considered for 8 weeks of coaching directly from me. We have 50 awesome ones up so far, you can check ‘em out for inspiration. Remember, you can’t win if you don’t play.

Another big shout out to TLR Legend Raul Cruz’s brother Will for his American Idol audition. That’s Cruz’s brother, which makes him our brother, too. Will, you carried yourself like a champion in front of an accomplished audience of celebrities, and your performance was outstanding. Way to step up and do your thing. TLR wishes you luck on your journey. View Will’s audition

For Soreness
Soak in the warm tub, try epsom salts.

TLR’s One World Transformation

Monday it starts. I will be training Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday each week, and will be posting the videos on those nights. You may want to hit on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to have time to watch the workouts in prep for your workout the next day.

Each muscle group will be hit once a week, so since these come early in the week, you have the freedom to arrange your own 3-day split and draw whatever wisdom applies.

You have seen over 250 training videos of me in the gym. But every road is new, and life is an endless transformation. I will do my best to bring out some new points and plenty of new philosophies that keep me in the mindset of a champion. Goal: beat my 2010 Levrolympia shape, whatever it takes. That’s what’s up. Together we will accomplish our goals.

The contest to be the ONE ACCOUNTABLE member will be held on Facebook and will launch Monday or Tuesday. I will provide the link here.

The Fast, Ending. Something New, Beginning…

The fast has come to an end. It may seem like a minor thing, not as impressive as a 500 lb squat, but a three-day fast can be a life-changing event, uncovering dormant ideas and realizations that can last a long time and transform the path you’re on.

It all depends on what you bring into it. If you’re in a good place before a fast, then a fast is mostly physical. Sure, you’ll feel clarity, but it will be more of a physical cleansing.

However, if you go into it with conflicting thoughts and feelings, or the suspicion that you might be ready for a major change, a fast can create a paradigm shift in your outlook.

My outlook for the next few months is now clear. It’s once again about getting shredded – because life isn’t a straight line, you know what I’m talking about.

But this time some things will be different. You and TLR will be my partner as always, but this time I also need one other partner to train with me, someone who can take a similar journey and be in touch in an intensive way, one on one.

Could this one person be you? Do you have what it takes to get shredded with me? To be held personally accountable? To challenge me?

Do you have what it takes to train long-distance with me, where failure is not an option? Where nothing is done halfway? Think hard about that.

Thanks again to the Finger Man for his guidance on the phone yesterday. I had some issues with the sound for recording, so I can’t post it, but what he said came through loud and clear to me.

Which is why we’ll be going back to the Finger Man when we’re ready for a longer fast. A week, or more. If you follow the endless transformation with me, make no mistake, eventually it will take you into unusual territory.

Also, a big shout out to Reps Magazine. See first video below.

Peace,

Kevin

Fast Day #2

I know this came sudden. Glad to see in the comments that several of you were quick on your feet and are joining me on this fast.

The mood, energy and awareness is off the charts. The clarity is incredible. Sometimes you have to reset yourself, take the time to slow down and get in touch with yourself. I know after this my journey and mission will be ten times clearer, so it’s something that has to be done.

For any of you looking to drop your body fat count, fasting is a great way to kick start that process and retrain your appetite, so I hope you guys are either joining me, or thinking long and hard about planning your own fast soon.

In a way, nothing is more hardcore than a prolonged fast – if you’re ready for that next spiritual level of a warrior champion. That’s what’s up. I’ll get some video up on my phone call to Finger Man tomorrow.

The Levrone Report 3-Day Liquid Fast • Wiping The Slate Clean For The New Year

Kicking off 2011 with a 3-day fast. I invite you to join me on this and report your experience here. See the video below for info on what I’ll be drinking and how much.

Fasting for 3 days is not easy. For many, it’s easier to ease into it, to reduce your calorie intake a day leading up the fast. So if you plan on starting tomorrow, then go for a light meal tonight.

Fasting has a host of benefits. It detoxifies you and helps you heal. The benefits are physical and mental, even spiritual – whatever that may mean to you.

Please research fasting on your own if you have questions that go outside the scope of what I’m telling you. If you decide to join me, please know the risk of a fast is your own.

Be smart, stay hydrated, and pay attention to how you feel. If you’re extremely faint or have other weird symptoms, end the fast.

I will be checking in with the Finger Man himself – the high priest of fasting – during this time, so stay tuned for that. The man has been known to do extended water fasts that have lasted weeks, so it will be interesting to see what he has to say.

Let me know if you’re with me. You can try a one, two or three day fast. Or you can do a fruit or vegetable fast. Or you can do the full blown, 3-day Levrone-style fast. Either way, I got your back.

Peace,

Kevin
